HTC U Spotted on Geekbench With Snapdragon 835 & 4GB RAM

HTC has teased its upcoming device a few times in past couple of weeks, and we all know it is the HTC U with a touch-sensitive frame. The render of the device has already leaked that reveals that the phone is not very exciting regarding looks as it looks like an ordinary smartphone. One of the highlights of this phone is surely going to be that touch-sensitive frame on the sides that will let users do various tasks by gestures like sliding.

The phone has been spotted on Geekbench today that reveals a few specifications like the processor, RAM and Android OS version. The device goes by the model number HTC CBP and is powered by Snapdragon 835 chipset, clocked at 1.9GHz with eight cores. There is 4GB RAM, and the phone runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box. The HTC U scores 1912 on Single core and 6137 on multi-core which is pretty great compared to the scores of current flagships like Galaxy S8 and Mi6.

Along with this, we also know that the phone is IP57 certified and has Bluetooth 5.0. The HTC U is going to be company’s flagship for this year, so it will be interesting to see what more the phone offers. Stay Tuned.
