In May, the Honor X10 launched in China featuring the Kirin 820 5G chipset, a 90Hz IPS LCD panel, and triple cameras at a starting price of 1,899 Yuan or $267. Today, Honor X10 Max launched in China & this is a phone meant for a great media consumption experience, thanks to a huge display and a huge battery.
HONOR X10 MAX – DESIGN & SPECIFICATIONS
While the X10 featured a pop-up selfie camera and hence a full-screen design, the X10 Max features a U-shaped notch with a single selfie camera in it. There are dual cameras on the rear placed in a rectangular camera housing. There are stereo speakers on this phone placed on the bottom & the top respectively.
The display on the front is a huge 7.09-inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD panel featuring 780 nits of brightness & HDR10 support. It is using the RGBW matrix, which means improved brightness. For those who like to watch TV Shows and Movies on their phones, this device is definitely a great choice.
There is also a massive 5,000mAh battery underneath due to which the phone weighs around 232 grams. There is support for 22.5W charging. Honor X10 Max has the Dimensity 800 chipset paired with 6/8GB RAM and 64/128GB storage. Android 10 runs out of the box with MagicUI 3.1 on top.
The dual-camera setup on the back includes a primary 48 Megapixel camera paired with a 2 Megapixel depth sensor. So, it won’t be wrong to say that cameras are definitely not the best on this phone. For comparison, the Honor X10 has a triple camera setup with an impressive Sony IMX600y sensor for the primary camera.
Finally, the phone has a 16 Megapixel selfie camera.
