Honor V30 5G is set to launch tomorrow in China alongside the Honor V30 Pro & we already know a lot about these phones since the press renders as well as the alleged specifications of both phones have already leaked. Even the company has revealed some key details about these phones like the design from the front, the SOC, etc.
Today, however, a couple of hands-on images of the Honor V30 5G were shared on Weibo that reveal the design from the front as well as the rear & confirmed the design revealed by the leaked press renders.
As the image above reveals, the V30 5G features a hole-punch display with dual selfie cameras. So, instead of a small circular cutout, there is a pill-shaped cutout on the top left of the display that houses the dual selfie shooters. The bezels are minimal all around, even on the bottom. As per some sources, the Honor V30 & V30 Pro have a 6.57-inch IPS LCD panel with a 91.46% screen-to-body ratio.
It is already confirmed that there is Kirin 990 SOC, with the 5G variants having the Kirin 990 5G SOC. The Honor V30 is coming with 6/8GB RAM & 128GB storage while the V30 Pro with 8GB RAM & 128/256GB ROM.
On the rear, there are triple cameras & they’re placed in a rectangular housing on the top left. There is reportedly a primary 40 Megapixel Sony IMX600 sensor, an 8 Megapixel secondary telephoto lens & an 8 Megapixel third wide-angle camera. There is OIS for the primary camera as well.
While there is no fingerprint scanner on the rear, that doesn’t mean it is there under the screen. The fingerprint scanner is there on the side (visible in the hands-on images) since there is an LCD panel instead of AMOLED.
Finally, there is a 4,200mAh battery & 40w Fast Charging as well. The Honor V30 Pro is reportedly coming with 27W Fast Wireless Charging as well as 7.5W Reverse Wireless Charging, so that’s interesting.
An image posted on Weibo recently revealed the price of Honor V30 5G in China & it is going to be CNY4,999 if the image is to be believed. That translates to around $710 & seems way too much for an Honor device.
