The Honor 10 was launched in China a couple of weeks back, and it is a flagship device that features a beautiful design and gets most of the specifications from the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro which launched in March. OnePlus is all set to launch OnePlus 6 on May 17 and Honor has now teased the launch of Honor 10 in India. We have seen Honor launching its flagship phones around the same time when OnePlus launches its flagship devices. Last year, the Honor 8 Pro was launched as a competition to the OnePlus 5 and this year, Honor 10 is launching in India as a OnePlus 6 competitor.
Honor has started teasing the launch on Flipkart which confirms that the device will be Flipkart Exclusive in India. Honor is promoting the phone as ‘The OnePlus Killer’ which means that it is launching to compete with the OnePlus 6 (which we doubt it will be able to!). In case you aren’t aware of the specifications yet, the Honor 10 has a 5.84-inch Full-HD+ display with a notch on top that results in an aspect ratio of 19:9. The processor is still the Kirin 970, which was first seen last year with the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro from Huawei. The same processor is powering the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro.
There is 4/6GB RAM and 64/128GB internal storage. The Honor 10 has a dual rear camera setup that includes 16MP+24MP sensors. Android 8.1 Oreo runs out of the box with the EMUI skin on top, and a 3,320mAh battery backs all this which also supports fast charging.
