The most recent phones under the “X” series by Honor are the Honor X9b & the X7b. One of the highlights of these phones is the battery. The X9b is also the first phone in the industry with the SGS 5-star drop-resistant certification. The brand has now silently introduced the Honor X6b. As the name suggests, it is a more affordable phone than the other two models in this series.
Like the other two phones, the Honor X6b features a large battery. It has a 5,200mAh battery with 35W fast wired charging. It also has the same SGS 5-star drop-resistant certification as the Honor X9b. This is a budget phone, hence, the front has a waterdrop notch and a big bottom bezel. The fingerprint scanner is placed on the side. There is a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port.
Under the hood, the Honor X6b has the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset with 4GB or 6GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage. The phone runs on Android 14-based MagicOS 8.0.
On the back, there is a dual camera setup. The primary camera has a 50MP sensor with an f/1.8 lens, whereas the secondary camera has a 2MP depth sensor. The selfie camera has a 5MP sensor.
Finally, Honor X6b has a 6.56-inch TFT LCD with a 720p resolution, 780 nits peak brightness, and up to 90Hz refresh rate.
Honor has not yet revealed the pricing, but based on these specifications, this better launch as an entry-level phone. The color options are Forest Green, Starry Purple, Ocean Cyan, and Midnight Black.
