Earlier this year, HMD decided to drop the “Nokia” branding from its smartphone, marking the end of “Nokia” smartphones. The brand has already launched a few phones under its brand, such as the HMD Pulse, HMD Pulse Pro, HMD Pulse+, HMD Aura, etc. One of the much-awaited phones from the brand is the HMD View, a mid-range 5G phone with impressive specifications. The official images of the phone were shared by a source on Twitter, along with the specifications.
The HMD View has a clean and minimal design, including a dual camera setup on the rear, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The antenna lines on the side suggest a metal frame, instead of a polycarbonate one. The two color options in the image above are named Ice & Velvet. There is a third color option named Meteor Black.
The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset, which is a slightly upgraded version of the Snapdragon 695 5G. The phone features 8GB RAM and has a 4,700mAh battery. The primary rear camera has a 50MP sensor with OIS support. Finally, there is a Full-HD+ OLED display on the front.
Well, the specifications are good for a mid-range smartphone, but it all comes down to the price. The phone is expected to be unveiled this month.
