Asus ROG Phone 2 with Snapdragon 855 Plus shows up on Geekbench

We already know that Asus ROG Phone 2 is going to be the first device featuring Snapdragon 855 Plus processor & today, the phone showed up on Geekbench which reveals it will be the Android device with highest Geekbench score when it launches. The company has already confirmed that the Snapdragon 855 Plus is powering the ROG Phone 2 & many other smartphone brands have hinted that more phones are coming with this chipset.

As the listing reveals, the phone has 12GB RAM, so it is definitely the maxed out variant of the ROG Phone 2. There is Android 9 Pie running out of the box & Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus powering the device. The single-core score is around 3,600 while the multi-core score goes up to 11,100! FYI, the current leader of Geekbench in terms of the multi-core performance is Black Shark 2 from Xiaomi that scores 10,771.

Well, it’s no surprise that Snapdragon 855 Plus powered phone tops the one with Snapdragon 855.
