In January last year, we got the first smartphone under the Redmi sub-brand, the Redmi Note 7. At that time, the specs it offered at a starting price of 999 Yuan were mind-blowing that included Snapdragon 660 SOC, 4,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging, 48MP Samsung GM1 sensor, etc.
Later in August, we got the Redmi Note 8 series that launched with a new design & even better specifications for almost the same price. Now, Redmi is all set to launch the Redmi Note 9 series & as per leaks, the launch is happening in early March.
Today, a source revealed the major specifications of both the Redmi Note 9 and the Note 9 Pro, but while the specs are great, we will advise you to consider this leak with a pinch of salt.
One source even posted the concept renders based on the information known. As per the source, the Redmi Note 9 as a Quad camera setup with a design similar to the camera setup on Huawei Mate 20 series. On the front, there is a punch-hole design, but the location of the punch-hole is mystery i.e., it could be on the top left, top right, or in the middle.
Coming to the leaked specs, a user on Twitter claimed that he knows the major specifications of Note 9 which are as follows –
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SOC
- 3/4/6GB RAM + 32/64/128GB storage
- 48MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP Quad cameras
- 5,000mAh battery
- Full-HD+ punch-hole display
He also shared a couple of specs of Redmi Note 9 Pro that include –
- MediaTek Dimensity 800 SOC
- 5,000mAh battery
- Quad Cameras – 64MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP
Well, as the source said, the leak should be considered with a pinch of salt as he cannot guarantee if the specs are 100% accurate.
