Acer launched two new smartphones (yes, you read right!) in the Indian market today, the Acer Super ZX and the Acer Super ZX Pro. Both are 5G phones, where the Super ZX is a budget offering priced under ₹10,000, and the Super ZX Pro is a mid-range phone priced under ₹20,000. The specifications are pretty interesting, and it looks like these are good phones for the price, at least on paper.
ACER SUPER ZX
Starting with the more affordable of the two, the Acer Super ZX features a circular camera module on the rear with a triple camera setup. The phone weighs around 200g, and the thickness is around 8.6mm.
The phone has a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ LCD on the front with 120Hz refresh rate. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Under the hood, the phone has the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset with 4GB or 6GB or 8GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB or 256GB storage. There is a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
The triple camera setup on the rear includes a primary 64MP Sony IMX682 sensor paired with two 2MP sensors. There is a 13MP sensor for selfies.
Finally, the phone runs on Android 15 out of the box.
The price starts at ₹9,990.
ACER SUPER ZX PRO
The Acer Super ZX Pro is a mid-range offering from the company, and the phone features a camera module design similar to the Galaxy S25 Ultra. There are three identical circles on the back without any camera island. The phone is IP64-certified and has stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.
Under the hood, there is the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, and while the company reportedly claimed UFS 4.1 storage in the phone, it is hard to digest since the chipset does not support it. It is most likely the UFS 3.1 storage, which is quite impressive since most of the brands offer UFS 2.2 storage at this price.
The battery is 5,000mAh.
The camera setup includes a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor for the primary camera with OIS, a 5MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP sensor for the third camera.
The price starts at ₹17,990.
