In December last year, the Realme Neo 7 was launched in China with a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset and a massive 7,000mAh battery. Today, the company launched another phone in the Neo 7 series named the Realme Neo 7 SE. It is the successor to last year’s Realme GT Neo 6 SE, which launched globally as the Realme GT 6T.

The Neo series by the brand is known for offering impressive performance for the price, and the Neo 7 SE is no exception.

The two highlights of the device are its performance and battery life. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400-MAX chipset, built on TSMC’s 4nm process. This chipset scores over 1.8 Million points on the AnTuTu benchmark. The reason for the impressive performance is its CPU architecture. This is the first chipset under the 8000 series with an all-big core architecture. There is LPDDR5X RAM with UFS 4.0 storage. For better thermals, there is a large 7700mm² vapor chamber cooling system under the hood.

As for the battery, the Realme Neo 7 SE packs a massive 7,000mAh battery inside with 80W fast wired charging. The phone is also IP68 and IP69-certified. There is a Crystal Armor glass protection on the front.

The phone has stereo speakers.

The Realme Neo 7 SE features a 6.78-inch 120Hz 8T LTPO OLED display with 6000 nits peak brightness and a 1.5K resolution. The side bezels are quite slim at 1.49mm, and this is a 10-bit panel with  2160Hz PWM dimming. The cameras are the least impressive part of this device. There are two cameras on the rear. The primary camera has a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS, and the secondary camera has an 8MP sensor with an ultrawide lens. The selfie shooter has a 16MP sensor. The phone can shoot 4K 60fps videos from the rear camera, but the front camera is limited to 1080p 30fps videos.

Finally, the phone runs on Android 15-based Realme UI 6.0.
