Just recently, we got to know that Poco X2 is the next smartphone from the company & it is launching on February 4th in the Indian market. So far, the company is hyping the high-refresh-rate display on the phone & thanks to many sources, it is almost confirmed that the X2 is just a rebranded Redmi K30.
Well, it is now officially confirmed that the X2 features a 120Hz display & a side-facing fingerprint scanner, thanks to the latest teaser.
The latest teaser gives us a look at the right side of the phone & looking closely, we can clearly see that there is a physical fingerprint scanner on the right side. This means the display on the front is an LCD panel instead of an AMOLED. Since the Redmi K30 too features a 120Hz display & side-facing fingerprint scanner, there should be no doubt now that the Poco X2 is just a rebranded Redmi K30 4G for the Indian market.
We are still expecting to see a little design change because it would be weird to launch the Redmi K30 4G with just Poco branding in India, now that Poco is an independent brand.
