The OnePlus 11R was launched in the Indian market earlier this month, and if you don’t know, the same phone launched in the Chinese market as the OnePlus Ace 2. While the Ace 2 featured the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, OnePlus is now set to launch the OnePlus Ace 2 Dimensity Edition in China. As the name indicates, the chipset will be the main difference between this upcoming phone & the regular Ace 2.
Today, Digital Chat Station gave us our first look at the design of this phone. As we can see, the Ace 2 Dimensity Edition looks entirely different than the Ace 2. There is no camera island on the back. Instead, the phone has two big circles, one having the primary sensor, whereas the other has two sensors. The phone also has two flash modules on the rear. It would not be wrong to say that if we remove the OnePlus branding from the rear, this looks like a design of an Oppo phone.
This image also confirms the presence of an alert slider on the right side. The phone’s sides are flat & the glass back has a sandstone finish.
As per the leaks, OnePlus Ace 2 Dimensity Edition has a Dimensity 9000 chipset, 80W fast charging, a 5,000mAh battery, a 6.7-inch 1.5K display, a 64MP + 8MP + 2MP triple camera setup & a 16MP selfie camera.
There are rumors of this phone coming to the global market as the OnePlus Nord 3. And it might be true as well since we recently got to know that the Nord 3 is powered by Dimensity 9000 SOC.
