The OnePlus Nord 2 was launched in July 2021, and while there were leaks and rumours around the successor last year, the Nord 3 was not launched in 2022. It looks like the company is planning to launch the OnePlus Nord 3 since the specifications of the phone were shared today by MySmartPrice. According to the source, the phone will launch globally between mid-June and July.
The OnePlus Nord 3 will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SOC, a significant upgrade over the Dimensity 1200 chipset powering the Nord 2. The Dimensity 9000 SOC was the MediaTek’s flagship chip for last year, and also the first chip built on the 4nm process. There will be 8GB or 12GB RAM, paired with 128GB or 256GB storage. The phone will have a 6.72-inch AMOLED display with a Full-HD+ resolution.
As for the cameras, the phone is going to have a triple camera layout. The primary camera will have a 50MP sensor, the ultrawide camera will have an 8MP sensor, and the macro camera will have a 2MP sensor. For selfies, there will be a 16MP sensor.
There will be a 5,000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC charging support. Finally, the phone will also feature an alert slider.
