OnePlus 15 official images are here ahead of the launch

A similar camera module design as OnePlus 13s!

The OnePlus 13 was launched in China in October last year with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and a massive 6,000mAh battery. The brand is preparing for the OnePlus 15 launch in China, and the company has shared the official images on Weibo, revealing the design. The company has skipped the OnePlus 14, as the number ‘4’ is considered unlucky in China. This is the same reason why we did not get a OnePlus 4.

Design-wise, the OnePlus 15 takes design notes from the OnePlus 13s. Gone is a circular camera module, as it is replaced with a square camera module having a triple camera setup and LED flash. The official images reveal a flat frame design and a Plus key on the left. There is a flat display on the front with the brand claiming extremely slim 1.15mm bezels on all four sides. For comparison, the Xiaomi 17 was recently launched with 1.18mm bezels, so the OnePlus 15 has even slimmer bezels than that phone.

OnePlus says the phone uses an aerospace-grade nano-ceramic metal frame, which is over 344% harder than anodized aluminum alloy. It is also 134% harder than titanium and 223% harder than stainless steel. So, the build quality of the OnePlus 15 is going to be impressive.

As per the brand, the phone has a 165Hz display, up from 120Hz on the OnePlus 13. The phone features the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, and we won’t be surprised to see a massive battery since that’s the new norm these days among Chinese phone makers.

Let’s see at what price the phone launches in the Chinese market later this month. The global launch should happen shortly after the launch in China.
