CONFIRMED: Nubia Red Magic 5G has a 144Hz display

A few days back, we shared the leaked specifications of the upcoming Nubia Red Magic 5G. The leaked specs revealed that there is a 144Hz display on the phone. Now, Nubia CEO Ni Fei has officially confirmed the same on Weibo. He posted a couple of teasers that reveal the Red Magic 5G is going to be World’s First 144Hz 5G Gaming Phone.

The Red Magic 5G will be unveiled at the MWC 2020, which is the biggest technology event of the year, where most of the smartphone makers unveil their best devices. The teasers also confirm that there is a triple camera setup on the back, again confirming the previous leaks.

As we already know, there is a 6.65-inch Full-HD+ OLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. Users can choose between 60Hz, 90Hz, 120Hz or 144Hz as per their liking. There is Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SOC with 5G Modem, 12GB LPDDR5 RAM & a triple camera setup on the back that includes a primary 64 Megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor. The battery size is not yet known, but as per leaks, there is 55W Fast Wired Charging.
