Every year, smartphones get bigger and bigger in size. Almost 3-4 years back, the average screen size of smartphones was about 4 to 4.5-inches which is now 5 to 5.5-inches. We get to see very few smartphones every year, packed with high-end specifications but compact in size. From past couple of days, we are getting rumors about the Galaxy S8 Mini which is supposed to be a compact version of the Galaxy S8. But, it seems there isn’t any such device planned by the company.
We got this information via a leaker on Twitter that has been a trusted source for Samsung-related leaks. As per him, a Samsung Engineer has officially said that there is no Galaxy S8 mini coming, so it seems everything we heard so far about the phone was fake. Anyways, it is stated that in case the company launches the S8 Mini, it will feature a smaller 5.3 or 4.7-inch infinity display, Snapdragon 821, 4GB RAM and 12MP rear camera.
So, what are your opinions? Do you want to see a compact flagship smartphone from a company like Samsung that is now planning to launch a device with a 6.3-inch display? Let us know in the comments section.
