Motorola Edge 60 Fusion launched with Dimensity 7400

Features a 1.5K quad-curved pOLED display!

In May last year, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion was launched with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, an IP68 certification, a curved 144Hz pOLED display, Gorilla Glass 5 protection, a 50MP Sony LYT-700C sensor, and more for a starting price of ₹22,999. Today, the brand launched the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion in the Indian market, and the phone brings some significant upgrades over its predecessor.

Design-wise, the phone looks stunning. It has a premium design with a quad-curved display on the front and a vegan leather finish on the rear. The front has the Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The phone is IP68 and IP69-certified, and has the MIL STD-810H certification. The device weighs 180.1g, and the thickness is 8.25mm. It should not come as a surprise that the phone has a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support.

This time, Motorola went with a MediaTek chip for this phone. The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion has the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, which is built on TSMC’s 4nm process and it is identical to the Dimensity 7300 except for a slightly higher CPU clock speed of 2.6GHz. The phone has LPDDR4X RAM with UFS 2.2 storage. There is support for memory expansion using a microSD card of up to 1TB.

The battery is 5,500mAh, and the phone supports 68W fast charging.

Speaking of the display, the Edge 60 Fusion has a 6.67-inch 1.5K quad-curved pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, 10-bit color depth, 4500 nits peak brightness, 1400 nits HBM brightness, and a 96.32% screen-to-body ratio. The display has the Aqua touch technology, making it easier to use with wet fingers.

There are two main cameras on the rear. The primary camera has a 1/1.56″ 50MP Sony LYT-700C sensor with OIS and an f/1.88 aperture lens. The ultrawide camera has a 13MP sensor, and it can take macro shots. There is a 3 in 1 light sensor on the rear. There is a 32MP sensor for selfies. The phone can shoot 4K 30fps videos from all the cameras.

The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion runs on Android 15 out of the box, and the company has promised three major OS updates for the phone.
