Motorola Edge 60 Fusion launching in India on April 2

In May last year, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion was launched in the Indian market with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, a curved 144Hz OLED panel, an IP68 rating, 68W fast charging, and more for a starting price of ₹22,999. The brand has now officially announced that the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is launching in India on April 2. Along with this announcement, Motorola has also shared the key details of the device.

The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion has a design similar to the Edge 50 Neo & Edge 50 Pro. There is a premium vegan leather finish on the rear, and this time, there is an IP69 rating alongside the IP68 rating. The phone has the MIL-810H military-grade certification. On the front, there is Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The phone features stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

As for the specifications, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, built on TSMC’s 4nm process. Motorola claims this is the first smartphone launching with a Dimensity 7400 chipset in India. The chipset has an octa-core CPU clocked at up to 2.6GHz and an Arm Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. There is 8GB or 12GB RAM with 256GB internal storage. The storage is expandable via a microSD card of up to 1TB.

The phone has a large 6.7-inch 1.5K curved OLED display with 4500 nits peak brightness, a 96.3% screen-to-body ratio, a 10-bit color depth, HDR10+ support, water touch 3.0 technology, and an under-display fingerprint scanner.

There is a large 5,500mAh battery with 68W fast wired charging. The camera setup includes a primary 1/1.56″-type 50MP Sony LYT-700C sensor with OIS and a 13MP ultrawide/macro camera. The phone also has a 3 in 1 ambient sensor. The selfie shooter has a 32MP sensor, which can shoot 4K videos.

Finally, the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is launching with Android 15 onboard, and it will get 3 OS updates.

The pricing is not yet known, but looking at the specifications, we are expecting a starting price under ₹25,000.
