MIUI 12.5 Update tracker – List of phones getting the MIUI 12.5 update

In December last year, along with the launch of Xiaomi Mi 11, the company also announced the next big MIUI update, the MIUI 12.5. MIUI 12.5 comes with some significant upgrades in terms of privacy & performance and also support for MIUI+ which is similar to Samsung DeX so you can combine your Xiaomi phones and the computer into a single workstation. Now, at the launch event, Xiaomi revealed the names of some phones that will get the internal beta update. These phones included models as old as 2019, for example, the Redmi Note 7.

Well, now the company has shared the full list of phones getting the MIUI 12.5 Update and this list includes a total of 28 smartphones under the Mi and Redmi lineup.

LIST OF PHONES GETTING MIUI 12.5 UPDATE

Anyways, here are the “Mi” series phones that will get the update –

4. Mi 10 Ultra
5. Mi 10 Youth Edition
6. Mi 9 SE

8. Mi 9 Pro 5G
9. Mi 9 Explorer Edition
10. Mi CC9 Pro
11. Mi CC9
12. Mi CC9e
13. Mi CC9 Meitu Edition

And here are the “Redmi” phones that will get the official update –

3. Redmi K30S
4. Redmi K30i 5G
5. Redmi K30 Racing Edition
6. Redmi K30 
7. Redmi K20 Pro
8. Redmi K20
9. Redmi 10X Pro
10. Redmi 10X

12. Redmi Note 9 Pro
13. Redmi Note 8
14. Redmi Note 7 Pro
15. Redmi Note 7

So the oldest device in this list of the Redmi Note 7 which launched two years ago and will still get the MIUI 12.5 update which is great. Weirdly, some phones are missing in this list like the Redmi Note 8 Pro or the even cheaper offering from the brands like the Redmi 9 & Redmi 8 series.

There is no announcement by Xiaomi on when MIUI 12.5 update will be pushed to phones outside the Chinese market so when the company makes that announcement, we are expecting to see even more phones on this list. We will be updating the article accordingly so stay tuned!
