Xiaomi Mi 9T retail box suggests it’s just a renamed Redmi K20

Xiaomi Mi 9T is launching soon & the company has already revealed this. We still don’t know the exact launch date, but so far, all the leaks have hinted towards Mi 9T being just a renamed Redmi K20. Today, the retail box of the phone leaked in a couple of live images & this confirmed the fact that except the name, there isn’t any difference between the Mi 9T & the recently launched Redmi K20.

A user shared these hands-on images of the retail box & the phone on Instagram & as you can see, the Xiaomi Mi 9T has a pop-up selfie camera & a bezel-less display on the front. The specifications written on the plastic cover include a 6.39-inch AMOLED Full-HD+ display with in-display fingerprint reader, an 8nm 2.2GHz Snapdragon 730 processor, 4,000mAh battery with 18W Fast Charging, 48MP primary rear camera & a 20MP pop-up selfie camera.

So, specifications wise, there is absolutely no difference between the Xiaomi Mi 9T and the Redmi K20. The retail box contains the phone in Carbon Black color, so the color options are probably different for the Mi 9T. We might not see that unique gradient panel on the rear as on the Redmi K20, but nothing can be said as of now.

The retail box also reveals that there is at least 6GB RAM & 64GB internal storage.
