The much-awaited Redmi Note 13 series is now official in the Indian market. The series succeeds the Redmi Note 12 series and includes three phones – Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro & Redmi Note 13 Pro+. It is worth mentioning that the Note 13 series was launched in China in September last year.
REDMI NOTE 13 5G
The Redmi Note 13 5G is the successor to the Redmi Note 12 5G. The Note 12 5G was launched in India in January last year with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset and a 120Hz Super AMOLED display.
The Redmi Note 13 5G has a new camera module design, including the triple camera setup and the LED flash. There are flat sides, a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and an IP54 rating. The phone has Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front.
The Redmi Note 13 5G is the slimmest Redmi Note ever, at 7.6mm. The phone weighs 173.5g.
One of the highlights of this phone is its front design. The phone has slim bezels on the front, resulting in a 93.3% screen-to-body ratio. This is a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a full-HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the Redmi Note 13 5G has the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset, up to 12GB RAM, and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. There is a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
Speaking of cameras, the phone has three on the rear. The primary camera has a 108MP sensor with an f/1.75 aperture. The ultrawide camera has an 8MP sensor, and the macro camera has a 2MP sensor. The phone can shoot up to 1080p videos at 30fps. For selfies, there is a 16MP sensor.
The phone runs on Android 13 out of the box.

The starting price is the same as the Redmi Note 12 5G, except that the Note 12 5G had 4GB RAM in the base variant, whereas the Note 13 5G offers 6GB RAM.
REDMI NOTE 13 PRO 5G
The Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G looks similar to the Redmi Note 13 5G since the camera module design is the same. Two of the three color options are also similar to the Note 13 5G.
The Note 13 Pro 5G has glass on both the front and back. The front has Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It is also the first Redmi Note to have an under-display fingerprint sensor.
The display is a 6.67-inch AMOLED with a 1.5K resolution (2712 x 1220 pixels), 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, 12-bit colors, 1800 nits peak brightness, and 1920Hz PWM dimming.
Under the hood, the phone has the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. There is a 5,100mAh battery with 67W fast wired charging.
There are three rear cameras. The primary camera has a 200MP Samsung HP3 sensor with OIS. The ultrawide camera has an 8MP sensor. The macro camera has a 2MP sensor. The selfie shooter has a 16MP sensor. There is support for 4K video recording at up to 30fps.
Finally, Android 13-based MIUI 14 runs out of the box. The phone will get three major Android OS updates.

REDMI NOTE 13 PRO+ 5G
The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G is the most expensive Redmi Note to date, and also the most feature-packed. First, the design is different from the other Note 13 series devices. There is no camera island, so the triple camera setup includes three separate cameras.
The phone comes in three colors – Black, white, and fusion Purple. The Fusion Purple color has a vegan leather back with a color-blocked pattern that looks unique.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is IP68 certified, the first for a Redmi Note. There is Gorilla Glass Victus protection for the display. The display is curved on the sides, making it the first Redmi Note with a curved screen. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, an X-axis motor, NFC, and an IR blaster.
Under the hood, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ has the MediaTek Dimensity 7200-ULTRA chip. This is built on the TSMC’s 4nm process and paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. There is a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. The 120W adapter comes in the box.
Redmi Note 13 Pro+ has three rear cameras. The primary camera has a 200MP Samsung HP3 sensor with OIS and an f/1.65 lens. The ultrawide camera has an 8MP sensor, and the macro camera has a 2MP sensor. The phone can shoot 4K videos at up to 30fps. The selfie camera has a 16MP sensor.
Finally, Android 13 runs out of the box and the phone will receive three major Android OS updates.
