Realme GT Neo 3 launched in India with 150W charging

This is the same phone as OnePlus 10R, or rather the other way around!

Release Date
April 29, 2022
Starting Price
₹36,999

Yesterday, the OnePlus 10R launched in India with Dimensity 8100-MAX and up to 150W fast charging. As we know, that phone is the same in terms of specs as the Realme GT Neo 3. Well, today, the GT Neo 3 launched in India as well. And as expected, the price of the GT Neo 3 is lower than that of the 10R. The GT Neo 3 starts at ₹36,999, so it is ₹2,000 cheaper than the 10R.

The only difference between the GT Neo 3 and the 10R is the rear design because the camera modules of both phones look different, even though the number of camera sensors is the same. The GT Neo 2 has a ‘Racing Stripe’ design on the back, a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos, and a flat panel with a hole punch in the center.

The main USP of this phone is definitely the charging speed. But, just as in the case of the 10R, not all the variants of GT Neo 3 support 150W charging. It is reserved for only the highest-end 12GB + 256GB variant that has a 4,500mAh battery. The other two variants have 80W charging and a 5,000mAh battery. Under the hood, there is the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SOC that is paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

The triple camera setup on the rear includes a primary 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS, an 8MP sensor with an ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. There is a 16MP selfie shooter. The rear camera is capable of up to 4K 60fps video recording.

Realme GT Neo 3 has a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED with 10-bit color depth and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The fingerprint scanner sits under the display.

Finally, Android 12 runs out of the box with Realme UI 3.0 on top.

There are three color options named Asphalt Black, Nitro Blue, and Sprint White. Here is the pricing –

  • 8GB + 128GB (5,000mAH + 80W) – ₹36,999
  • 8GB + 256GB (5,000mAh + 80W) – ₹38,999
  • 12GB + 256GB (4,500mAh + 150W) – ₹42,999

You can avail flat ₹7000 discount on SBI cards that brings the starting price down to ₹29,999, which is definitely a great deal.

The first sale of the phone is happening on the 4th of May, and you can buy it via Realme India’s website, Flipkart, and stores near you.
