We finally know when the Oppo Reno 4 Series is launching in China as Oppo revealed the launch date today on Weibo. The launch is taking place on June 5th, which means just a week is now left for the unveiling. As we know already there are two phones named Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro, both with similar design & mostly the same specs.
Oppo shared the official trailer on Weibo as well as on its Chinese website that gives us a pretty good look at the design of the phones from the front as well as the back. As expected, the video shows the front of Oppo Reno 4 Pro since we know already that the Reno 4 has a dual punch-hole camera cutout.
We already know the specs of both the phones thanks to the previous leak. The Reno 4 features a 6.43-inch Full-HD+ display with 2.5D Curved Glass whereas the Reno 4 Pro has a 6.55-inch 3D Curved display. Both phones come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SOC & both have 4,000mAh battery along with 65W Fast Charging.
The camera setup is a bit different. While both the phones feature a triple camera setup on the back, the Oppo Reno 4 has a 48 Megapixel primary without OIS, an 8 Megapixel ultra-wide secondary and a 2 Megapixel B&W Portrait Lens. On the other hand, the Reno 4 Pro comes with a 48 Megapixel primary with OIS, a 13 Megapixel secondary telephoto camera & a third 12 Megapixel camera.
Interestingly, while the Reno 4 Pro has a single 32 Megapixel front camera, the Oppo Reno 4 has a dual-camera setup on the front that includes a primary 32MP camera paired with a 2MP depth sensor.
There is no word on the global launch yet, but since the Reno 3 Series launched globally, we are expecting the same to be the case with the Reno 4 Series.
