In February, we got to know that Lenovo would launch a gaming phone under the ‘Legion’ brand with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SOC. Now, Lenovo has surprised everyone by announcing that its Legion Gaming Phone would feature 90W Fast Charging. This means it is going to beat the 65W Fast Charging technology from companies like Oppo and Xiaomi.
Now when it’s Lenovo, we should always consider even the official teasers with a pinch of salt since the company has a history of misleading teasers. For Example, Lenovo teased a 100 Megapixel camera on the Z6 Pro last year, but when it launched, we got to know that there isn’t a 100MP sensor. In fact, the four cameras together can output a 100 Megapixel resolution image.
But this time, we don’t think the teaser is misleading. Lenovo clarified in another post on Weibo that the 90W Fast Charging isn’t a combination of Wired Charging + Wireless Charging + Reverse Wireless Charging. Instead, it is 90W Fast Wired Charging technology that we are going to see with the Legion Gaming phone.
