ZTE quietly announced its flagship, the Axon 10s Pro, today as the phone is listed on the official website. While the website reveals all the specifications & the design details, there is no information on the pricing or the launch date in the market. The website mentions that there is Snapdragon 865 & LPDDR5 RAM, which is the first on any phone at the moment.
Still, since there is no release date mentioned, it cannot be said if it would be the first to come to the market with Snapdragon 865 & LPDDR5 RAM.
ZTE AXON 10s PRO – DESIGN & SPECIFICATIONS
The Axon 10s Pro has a premium design that includes a curved display on the front & a 3D Glass back. There is a triple camera setup on the rear placed vertically on the top left. The “Axon 5G” text clearly suggests that this is a 5G phone from the brand. There is an in-display fingerprint scanner on the front & the phone doesn’t have a headphone jack.
The display on the front is a 6.47-inch AMOLED panel with Full-HD+ (2340 × 1080) resolution & Waterdrop notch on top. The aspect ratio is 19.5:9. Under the hood, there is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SOC with an X55 5G modem for 5G support. Moreover, there is up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM & 256GB UFS 3.0 storage. The base variant has 6GB RAM & 128GB storage.
The phone also supports WiFi 6 Standard. There is a 4,000mAh battery & the phone supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+. Android 10 runs out of the box with MiFavor10 UI on top.
Talking about the camera setup, there is a triple camera layout on the back that includes a primary 48-megapixel camera with f/1.7 aperture, a 20 Megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with 125-degree FOV, and an 8 Megapixel telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture. There is a 20 Megapixel front-facing camera for selfies.
Well, as we said in the beginning, the ZTE Axon 10s Pro has only been announced & there was no event hosted by the company for the launch, which is weird since this is a flagship. So, it cannot be said if this is going to launch as the first smartphone with Snapdragon 865 & LPDDR5 RAM.
ZTE is expected to launch it at the MWC that takes place at the end of this month.
