In September last year, the Xiaomi 13T series was launched in the global market with two smartphones – Xiaomi 13T & Xiaomi 13T Pro. The Xiaomi 13T featured the MediaTek Dimensit 8200-ULTRA chipset, while the Xiaomi 13T Pro featured the Dimensity 9200+ SOC. The two phones were quite similar as they had the same display, the same cameras, and the same battery size. The differences were in the performance and charging speeds.
The company will launch the successors soon, and while we are yet to get any official statement from the brand on the launch date, the specifications and pricing of the Xiaomi 14T & Xiaomi 14T Pro have leaked online. The details were shared by Dealabs.
As per the source, both phones will be offered in the same three colors – Titanium Black, Titanium Grey, and Titanium Blue. Both phones have the same display – a 6.67-inch 144Hz AMOLED with a 1.5K resolution (2712 × 1220 pixels), 4000 nits peak brightness, 12-bit color depth, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and 3840Hz PWM dimming. Both phones feature an IP68 certification, and there is a 5,000mAh battery.
Unlike last year, there are some differences in the cameras. The primary camera on the Xiaomi 14T has a 1/1.56″ 50MP Sony IMX906 sensor with 1.μm pixels and an f/1.62 lens with OIS support. On the other hand, the Xiaomi 14T Pro has a primary camera with a 1/1.31″ 50MP Light Fusion 900 sensor with 1.2μm pixels and an f/1.62 lens with OIS support.
The other two cameras on the rear are the same for both. There is a 12MP sensor with an ultrawide lens and a 50MP sensor with a 2.6x telephoto lens. For selfies, both phones have a 32MP sensor.
The Xiaomi 14T Pro supports 50W wireless charging, but that’s not the case with the vanilla model.
Finally, speaking of the performance, the Xiaomi 14T is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300-ULTRA chipset, while the Xiaomi 14T Pro has the Dimensity 9300+ SOC.
As for pricing, the Xiaomi 14T with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage will launch at €649, and the Xiaomi 14T Pro with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage for €899.
