Recently, we got the official first look at the Redmi Turbo 4, launching in the Chinese market on January 2. The phone is launching with the MediaTek Dimensity 8400-ULTRA chipset and is coming to the global market as the Poco X7 Pro. The brand has now started sharing more and more details of the device on its Weibo page, and today, we got to know the battery capacity.
The Redmi Turbo 4 features a massive 6,550mAh battery, which is the largest battery ever in a Redmi smartphone, tied with the Redmi K80 which has the same battery capacity. This is a huge upgrade over the 5,000mAh battery in the Redmi Turbo 3. Redmi says this battery works even at extremely low temperatures of -35°C. At the first sale in China, Redmi is offering a five-year warranty on the battery.
Speaking of the charging speed, Digital Chat Station revealed that the Redmi Turbo 4 supports 90W wired charging. So, there is no upgrade in the charging speed when compared to the Redmi Turbo 3.
Redmi also revealed that the phone is IP66, IP68, and IP69-certified. For comparison, the Redmi Turbo 3 was IP64-certified.
We will get to know more about the phone in the coming days. Stay tuned.
