Redmi Note 9T listed on Amazon, key specs & price revealed

Launching on January 8

In November last year, Redmi Note 9 5G series launched in the Chinese market that includes two 5G phones named Note 9 & Note 9 Pro, completely different from the Note 9 series available globally. Well now, Xiaomi is all set to bring the Redmi Note 9 5G to the global market but with a different name. It will be called Redmi Note 9T and Xiaomi announced on Twitter today that the launch is set to take place on the 8th of this month.

Well, there are still a few days left for the launch but Amazon (Germany) accidentally made the buying pages live which revealed not only the key specs of the phone but also the pricing for the German market. At the time of publishing this article, the listings are still up on Amazon and they reveal the prices of two storage options – 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB. Speaking of the prices mentioned, the 64GB variant is listed for 229.90 Euro whereas the 128GB variant for 269.90 Euro.

Since it is just the Redmi Note 9 5G but with a different name, there is no difference in the specs. There is MediaTek Dimensity 800U 5G SOC that means the phone supports dual 5G. There is a 6.53-inch Full-HD+ LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate & underneath, Redmi Note 9T has a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. There are three cameras on the rear that include a primary 48 Megapixel shooter paired with an 8 Megapixel ultrawide camera and a 2 Megapixel macro camera. Since it is a global variant of Note 9 5G, there is NFC support as well. On the front, there is a 13 Megapixel selfie camera placed in a hole-punch cutout on the top left of the screen.

There is also a Stereo speaker setup so the primary speaker is there on the bottom and the secondary speaker is on the top. Android 10 runs out of the box with MIUI 12 on top.

Xiaomi has already revealed one color option that, as Amazon reveals, is named Daybreak Purple. Another color option mentioned by Amazon is Nightfall Black.
