Realme has shared the design & some major features of Realme Watch on its official website. The watch comes with a 1.4-inch color touchscreen & the company says that it is the biggest screen on a smartwatch in the price segment in which this watch is launching. There are customizable straps and watch faces. There are 14 sports modes and some of them include Football, Basketball, Table-Tennis, Cricket, Yoga, Walk, Run etc.
The Watch comes with Real-Time heart rate monitor and Blood Oxygen Level Monitor (SpO2). The Realme Watch can be connected to the phone using Realme Link and this app is available for every device on Play Store. You will receiver notifications on the watch for example, Call, WhatsApp messages, Facebook Notifications, Twitter Notifications, Weather, Alarm, and more.
Finally, music and camera of the smartphone can be controlled with the Realme Watch so that’s also a cool feature.
Realme has now announced that it is launching its Realme TV & the Realme Watch in India on May 25th.
Realme started as a smartphone brand, but right now, the company sells True Wireless Earbuds, Earphones, Powerbanks, & Fitness Band along with the smartphones. Soon Realme is going to launch its smart TV to compete with Xiaomi in the smart TV segment & now, Realme has teased the launch of its smartwatch named Realme Watch.
On the official website, Realme has shared the above teaser of the Watch with the text saying “Coming Soon”. So, while the launch date is not known, these teasers suggest that the launch might take place this month.
In fact, we already know that on May 25th, Realme is launching eight new products in China, so this smartwatch is most likely one of them. Since Madhav Sheth has teased the launch as well, the watch would also launch in India soon.
Actually, it is not the first time Realme has talked about a smartwatch. In fact, the CEO of Realme was seen wearing it in the #AskMadhav show on YouTube. Anyways, we already know how Realme Watch looks like & what are its features, thanks to a report by XDA-Developers.
While the watch may look premium in the teaser, the design isn’t that great. There is a tiny display on the front & bezels all around. There is a huge bottom bezel that has the “Realme” branding & this design is definitely not the best for a smartwatch. Nevertheless, since it is going to be a super affordable smartwatch, we cannot expect Realme to go for a super premium design like some top players in the market.
