Earlier this month, Realme 11 5G was launched in Taiwan with MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset. Today, the phone was launched in the Indian market, starting at ₹18,999. While it is part of the Realme 11 series, the design differs from the Realme 11 Pro & 11 Pro+. But that’s not a bad thing, considering the Realme 11 5G has a design that gives it a unique identity.
Realme likes to come up with some fancy name for the design of its phones, and this time, the company calls the design the “Glory Halo Design.”
Realme 11 5G looks quite premium, even though the phone has a polycarbonate build. There is a circular camera module on the rear, featuring two large circles for the two cameras. The sides are flat, and the phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone has a flat panel on the front with a hole punch cutout in the center and a noticeable bottom bezel.
There is no mention from the brand of any stereo speaker setup on this phone, which should mean that there is a single bottom-firing speaker.
The MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset powers Realme 11 5G and this chip is built on the TSMC’s 6nm process. The chip features an octa-core CPU clocked at up to 2.2GHz. There is up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The battery is 5,000mAh, and the charging speed is 67W (you get an 80W adapter in the box).
The camera setup is pretty interesting. On the one hand, the phone has a 108MP Samsung HM6 sensor with an f/1.75 lens, which sounds impressive at this price. But on the other hand, the second camera is a 2MP depth sensor. In short, the second rear camera is pretty much useless on this phone. For selfies, there is a 16MP sensor. As for video recording, the phone supports up to 1080p 30fps video recording.
Coming to the display, Realme 11 5G has a 6.72-inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD with up to 120Hz refresh rate and 680 nits peak brightness. Finally, Realme UI 4.0 runs out of the box.
