Poco has launched its first Android tablet for the Indian market, the Poco Pad 5G. As the name suggests, this tablet comes with 5G connectivity, and that’s due to the Snapdraogn 7s Gen 2 chipset under the hood. For the Indian market, the price starts at ₹19,999 after applying the introductory offers for the base 8GB + 128GB storage variant.
The tablet comes in two colors – Cobalt Blue, and Pistachio Green. It is a rebranded Redmi Pad Pro and the only difference is the branding and color options. There is a unibody metal build with a Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the front. The tablet is IP52-rated, and the thickness is just 7.5mm.
On the front, it has a 12.1-inch 1600 x 2560 pixels IPS LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and 600 nits brightness. The tablet has four speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The battery is 10,000mAh and there is 33W fast-wired charging.
Under the hood, the Poco Pad 5G has the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 with 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB UFS 2.2 storage.
There is an 8MP camera on the rear and an 8MP camera on the front. Finally, Android 14-based Hyper OS runs out of the box.
