OnePlus 5 gets Face Unlock feature via Android 8.0 Beta 2 Update

Apart from the design changes, one of the key highlights of the OnePlus 5T regarding the software is the new Face Recognition feature that is faster than any other face unlock feature on any phone. OnePlus was expected to bring this feature to the OnePlus 5 via the software update and guess what, the phone has got the Face Unlock feature via the latest Android 8.0 Oreo Beta 2 Update. Along with this new Face Unlock feature, other updates include a new UI for the Settings and Notification Panel & also all the features that stock Android Oreo comes with like AutoFill, Picture in Picture (PIP), Notification Timeout, etc. OnePlus usually adds extra features via its OxygenOS skin and same is the case with this new update as the company has added extra features too.

Well, OnePlus hasn’t yet officially said anything about this new Android Oreo Beta 2 Update but a user has shared the screenshots after upgrading his phone, and you can see some of the new features. If you got this new update, do let us know the new updates that you noticed. Stay Tuned.
