Almost two weeks ago, we got the hands-on images of the upcoming Motorola Razr 5G that were shared on Weibo. Until today, we didn’t know the exact launch date of the device, but now, Motorola has started sending out the media invites for the launch event on September 9th (Ofcourse, it is going to be a virtual event).
As per Droid-Life, Motorola mentioned in the Invite that the company is “getting ready to flip the smartphone experience once again.” This clearly suggests that the next foldable Motorola Razr is launching that day.
As we have seen via the hands-on images, the major change in terms of the design is that the Motorola Razr 5G doesn’t have a fingerprint scanner on the outside, so we are expecting a side-facing fingerprint scanner similar to the Galaxy Z Flip 5G. Also, there is a new “Mercury Silver” color option.
The rumoured specs of the Razr 5G include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 chipset, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, a 48 Megapixel Samsung sensor, & a 20 Megapixel selfie shooter.
