The Honor 200 series was launched in China in May, featuring a premium design and an impressive spec sheet. Today, both devices were launched in the Indian market. The Honor 200 starts at ₹34,999 and the Honor 200 Pro at ₹57,999. So, as the prices suggest, one is a premium mid-range phone, while the other is a high-end flagship.

HONOR 200

Honor 200

Starting with the vanilla model, the design looks unique, primarily because of the camera module. The phone has an oval-shaped camera module on the back with a triple camera setup and an LED flash. The phone does not have a headphone jack and has a USB 2.0 Type-C port. There are stereo speakers, NFC, and an IR blaster on the top.

On the front, the Honor 200 has a premium-looking quad-curved display with a hole punch cutout in the middle. The phone is pretty slim at 7.7mm and weighs 187g. This is impressive considering it packs a large 5,200mAh battery. The phone supports 100W fast wired charging, but no wireless charging support is present.

Under the hood, the phone uses the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset with 8GB or 12GB RAM and 256GB or 512GB storage. There is a large 5029mm square vapor chamber for better thermal management.

The display is a 6.7-inch 120Hz 10-bit OLED with a 4000 nits HDR peak brightness, a 2664 x 1200 pixels resolution, Netflix & Amazon HDR certification, and 3840Hz PWM dimming. The fingerprint sensor sits under the display.

In terms of cameras, we are looking at a triple-camera setup on the rear. The primary camera has a 1/1.56″ 50MP Sony IMX906 sensor with OIS and an f/1.95 lens. The ultrawide camera uses a 12MP sensor with support for macro photography. The third camera has a 2.5x telephoto lens and uses a 50MP Sony IMX856 sensor with OIS. For selfies, there is a 50MP sensor on the front. On paper, these specifications make the Honor 200 look like a solid camera phone.

Finally, the phone runs on Android 14-based MagicOS 8.0 out of the box.

The color options are Black & Moonlight White. Here is the pricing –

  • 8GB + 256GB – ₹34,999
  • 12GB + 512GB – ₹39,999

HONOR 200 PRO

Honor 200 Pro

The Honor 200 Pro has a similar design as the vanilla model, but the phone is 0.5mm thicker and 12g heavier. The phone comes with an IP65 rating, which the vanilla model lacks. It also has wireless charging support with speeds up to 66W. Design-wise, the biggest differentiating factor is the pill-shaped cutout on the front where the two sensors are placed. While the phone uses the same 50MP sensor for the primary selfie camera, the second sensor is a 3D depth sensor.

Under the hood, the phone has a powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. The battery is the same at 5,200mAh, as is the 100W wired charging.

In terms of cameras, there is a difference in the sensor used for the primary rear camera. The Honor 200 Pro uses a 1/1.3″ 50MP OmniVision OV50H sensor with an f/1.6 lens and OIS. The other two rear cameras are the same as the vanilla model.

The Honor 200 Pro comes in Black & Ocean Cyan colors in India. There is a single storage option with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The price is ₹57,999.
