When the Zenfone Max Pro M2 launched in India last year, Asus promised Android Pie Update in January for the M2 and in February for the Max Pro M1. Logically, they both have received the Android Pie update, but it’s still in Beta. The users are waiting for the stable release and today, Asus finally announced the date by which the Zenfone Max Pro M2, Max M2 and Max Pro M1 would get the stable Android Pie update.

So, April 15th it is. As per the company, all three phones are going to receive the stable Pie update by April 15th, so there is still a month left till the deadline. Asus has been fast when it comes to providing the security patch updates, but the users are still waiting for the Pie update.

Considering that all the three Zenfones come with stock Android Oreo, providing the Pie Update quickly shouldn’t be an issue. Still, for some reasons, the company is not ready to roll out the stable update.
