So, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 is launching in India on February 28. There were rumors of the launch date being postponed to March, but the phone is now launching on the last day of February. We cannot say if the price in India is going to remain the same as that in China but expect the starting price to be somewhere around RS 11-12K for the 3GB variant.

The Redmi Note 7, if you don’t know, has a 6.3-inch Full-HD+ LTPS in-cell display with an FHD+ resolution and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The aspect ratio is 19.5:9, thanks to that waterdrop notch on top. The processor powering the Note 7 is Qualcomm Snapdragon 660, and it is not underclocked like on the Realme 2 Pro or the Zenfone Max Pro M2, which are two of the best phones under Rs 15,000 in India right now.

The Note 7 comes with 3/4/6GB RAM and 32/64GB ROM. There is a 4,000mAh battery which charges via the USB Type-C port. The 18W Fast charging is also supported, but the fast charger won’t be included in the box.

The cameras are one of the main highlights of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7. There are dual rear cameras that include a primary 48MP Samsung GM1 sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a secondary 5MP depth sensor. On the front, there is a single 13MP camera.
