The Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro was launched last year with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, an 11-inch 144Hz LCD, and an 8,600mAh battery. The brand has now launched its successor, the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro. The tablet was launched globally in a single color – Graphite Gray. In China, the tablet comes in three colors – Graphite Gray, Green & Blue.
Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro weighs 590g, and the thickness is 6.26mm. So, while the tablet is slimmer than the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro, it is 100g heavier. The reason is a larger display and battery. The tablet has a metal build, and there is a square camera module on the rear with a dual camera setup and an LED flash. The camera module looks identical to the Xiaomi 14.
There are six speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro has a 12.4-inch 3K display (3048 x 2032 pixels) with up to 144Hz refresh rate. This is an LCD with up to 900 nits brightness and 12-bit colors. The display supports Dolby Vision, HDR10, DC dimming & 4096 levels of brightness adjustment.
Under the hood, Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SOC with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The battery is upgraded to 10,000mAh and the tablet supports 120W fast charging. These are some big upgrades over the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro which had a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SOC, an 8,600mAh battery, and 67W fast charging.
The dual camera setup on the rear includes a 50MP primary Samsung JN1 sensor and a 2MP OmniVision OV02B1B depth sensor. The primary camera can shoot 4K videos at up to 60fps. The selfie camera has a 32MP OmniVision OV32D sensor with 1080p video recording support at up to 30fps.
There is a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, Wi-Fi 7, NFC, Bluetooth 5.3, and Android 14-based HyperOS.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at €699 in Europe.
