Xiaomi Mi Max 3 hands-on video confirms the design

The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 is launching soon as hinted by the CEO Lei Jun earlier this week and we are getting a lot of details related to the device. In fact, there are also rumors of Max 3 Pro with Snapdragon 710, but we doubt if there is any such device. Talking about the Mi Max 3, one thing that we know so far is the dual rear camera setup, a massive 18:9 display and a huge battery inside. Today, we got the hands-on video of the device that confirmed the design which was revealed by all the previous leaks. This video also reveals a couple of specifications like the screen, display, and the cameras.

XIAOMI MI MAX 3 HANDS-ON VIDEO

As the video above shows, the design isn’t going to be any different than all the Xiaomi phones launched this year. The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 is coming with a vertical dual rear camera setup placed on the top left, and the fingerprint scanner is also there on the rear. The video shows that the device is not meant to use in one hand, thanks to that massive 6.9-inch display.

The video revealed a couple of specifications as well that include a 6.9-inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD with an 18:9 aspect ratio. There are dual rear cameras that include a primary 12MP camera and a secondary 5MP camera for depth information. Under the hood, there is a huge 5,500mAh battery with fast charging support (Quick Charge 3.0). The source revealed that the processor is Snapdragon 636 which is the same chipset that powers the Redmi Note 5.

There is no information regarding the launch date, but it is happening pretty soon since the CEO has already shared the image of the retail box. The price is expected to start at 1,699 Yuan or $255.
