Along with the mid-ranger Mi 10T Lite 5G, Xiaomi also launched two flagships today under the Mi 10T series named the Xiaomi Mi 10T & Mi 10T Pro. The two phones are very similar to each other in almost every aspect, for example, the design, display, SOC, cameras (except primary sensor), battery etc. The only difference between the two phones is the storage options & the primary rear camera.
XIAOMI Mi 10T & Mi 10T PRO – DESIGN & SPECIFICATIONS
Talking about the design first, both phones have a triple camera setup on the rear placed vertically on the top left & a flat display on the front with a single hole-punch cutout on the top left. Both have a side-facing fingerprint scanner, a USB Type-C Port on the bottom, Stereo speakers & no 3.5mm headphone jack. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 is there on the front as well as the rear (Also covers the camera module).
The display on the front is a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ LCD with an impressive 144Hz refresh rate. There is AdaptiveSync in 30Hz/48Hz/50Hz/60Hz/90Hz/120Hz/144Hz, depending on the content on the display. There is HDR10 support as well.
Under the hood, both phones have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset, so the “Pro” version doesn’t get the 865 Plus. As mentioned in the beginning, the storage options are different for the two phones. While the Xiaomi Mi 10T comes with 6GB or 8GB RAM & 128GB storage, the Mi 10T Pro comes with 8GB RAM & 128/256GB storage. The RAM is LPDDR5, whereas the storage is UFS 3.1.
There is a difference in the camera setup as well. Both the phones have a triple camera setup on the rear, but while the Xiaomi Mi 10T has a 64 Megapixel primary IMX682 sensor, the Mi 10T Pro has a 108 Megapixel primary Samsung Sensor. Also, there is OIS for the primary camera on the Mi 10T Pro while the Mi 10T has only EIS.
The other two cameras are the same on both the phones. So both have a 13 Megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter with 123-degree FOV & a 5 Megapixel macro camera. Both the phone supports 8K video recording at 24/30fps & 4K at 30/60fps. On the front, there is a 20 Megapixel camera.
Finally, both the phones have a 5,000mAh battery & 33W Fast Charging support. The 33W Adapter is provided in the box. Other features of the phone include NFC Support, Stereo Speakers, X-axis linear motor, MIUI 12 etc.
