Xiaomi Mi 10 series is set to launch on February 13th as the company has now officially announced the launch date for the Chinese market. Due to the Coronavirus Outbreak in China, it is going to be an online-only event. While Xiaomi has not yet revealed it officially, we are sure that the Mi 10 Pro is also launching alongside the Mi 10 the same day.
Lei Jun has already revealed that the Xiaomi Mi 10 features LPDDR5 RAM & UFS 3.0 storage. Moreover, there is a Snapdragon 865 5G SOC & WiFi 6 support. Also, there won’t be any 6GB + 128GB variant this time as the base variant has 8GB LPDDR5 RAM.
We already know how the Mi 10 & Mi 10 Pro look like, thanks to all the leaks. Recently, the official poster of the Mi 10 leaked as well that confirmed the design revealed by the live images. There is a curved OLED display on the front with a punch-hole on the top left. There is a Quad camera setup on the back placed vertically on the top left that includes a primary 108MP camera.
The screenshot of Mi 10 Pro 5G’s “About Phone” page has already revealed some key specs that include a 6.4-inch AMOLED FHD+ display, Snapdragon 865 SOC, up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM & 512GB UFS 3.0 storage, a 5,250mAh battery and 66W Fast Wired Charging. The Quad camera setup includes 108MP + 16MP + 12MP + 5MP cameras.
Finally, the global launch is taking place at the MWC in Barcelona on February 23rd.
