In our previous article, we discussed the Xiaomi 13T, a high-end phone with a MediaTek Dimensity 8200-ULTRA chipset, IP68 rating, and a great camera setup. Alongside that phone, the brand also launched the 13T Pro. The Xiaomi 13T Pro is a premium flagship and the successor to the Xiaomi 12T Pro. The 12T Pro was launched last year with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, a 200MP camera, 120W charging, and more for €749.
The Xiaomi 13T Pro starts at €799, but it is worth mentioning that the base variant has 12GB RAM, compared to 8GB RAM in the 12T Pro’s base variant. The 12GB RAM variant of the 12T Pro was launched at €849 last year, so the 13T Pro is cheaper than the 12T Pro.
There is no difference between the 13T Pro and the 13T design-wise. Even the color options are the same for both phones. Both phones have the same thickness, but the 13T Pro is heavier than the 13T.
The similarities don’t end here.
Xiaomi 13T Pro has the same display as the 13T – a 6.67-inch 1.5K (2712 x 1220 pixels) AMOLED with up to 144Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, 2880Hz PWM dimming, Gorilla Glass 5, and 2600 nits peak brightness.
The camera setup is identical, too – 50MP Sony IMX707 (OIS) + 50MP OmniVision OV50D + 12MP Ultrawide + 20MP selfie. Thanks to a more powerful chipset, the Xiaomi 13T Pro can shoot up to 8K 24fps videos from the rear camera.
The chip is the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+, and there is LPDDR5X RAM paired with UFS 4.0 storage. The battery is the same as Xiaomi 13T at 5,000mAh, but the charging speed is bumped up to 120W.
Finally, Android 13-based MIUI 14 runs out of the box.
Xiaomi 13T Pro with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at €749.
