The Xiaomi 13 series was launched in China in December last year, which included the Xiaomi 13 & Xiaomi 13 Pro. Both phones launched with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SOC & the Xiaomi 13 Pro featured a 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor. Last year, the company also launched the Xiaomi 12S Ultra, a premium flagship phone with a crazy spec sheet. Now, we have the renders of the successor, that is, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. These renders were shared by OnLeaks, in collaboration with SmartPrix.
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra has a large circular camera module on the rear. There are four camera sensors, so the phone gets an extra camera compared to the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. The renders show a leather texture on the back & if you look closely, the area around the camera module is raised compared to the rest of the back. Even if we ignore the camera module, the back is still not flat.
The phone has flat sides & a curved display with a hole punch cutout in the center.
The USB Type-C port is on the bottom, along with the speaker grill. The second speaker is on the top.
According to the source, the display size is approximately 6.7 inches, similar to the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. The thickness is 9.57mm excluding the camera module & 15.61mm including it. This implies the phone is thicker than the Xiaomi 12S Ultra (9.1mm without the camera module & 13.5mm with it). The Xiaomi 12S Ultra had a 4,860mAh battery, so based on the thickness, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra might have a bigger battery.
The specifications are not yet confirmed, so we have to wait for more details.
