Vivo Z6 5G is now official in the Chinese market & as the name shows, it is a mid-range phone with 5G support, thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SOC. The device comes at a starting price of ¥2298, which translates to around $328. At that price, you’re getting not only 5G support but also a 5,000mAh battery, 44W fast charging, punch-hole design, Quad cameras & more.
VIVO Z6 5G – DESIGN & SPECIFICATIONS
Talking about the design first, the Z6 5G looks very similar to the recently launched iQOO 3. It has the same Quad camera setup design on the rear & the same punch-hole design on the front with a tiny punch-hole placed on the top right.
Unlike the iQOO 3 that has an in-display fingerprint scanner, the Z6 5G features a rear-facing fingerprint scanner since there is an LCD panel on the front. The phone has a USB Type-C port & doesn’t skip the 3.5mm headphone jack.
Talking about the specifications, the Vivo Z6 5G features a 6.57-inch Full-HD+ (2400 x 1080) LCD panel with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The screen-to-body ratio, as per Vivo, is 90.74%. Under the hood, there is Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SOC, which features an integrated X52 5G modem. There is 6/8GB RAM & 128GB UFS 2.1 storage.
Coming to the camera setup, the Vivo Z6 5G comes with a Quad camera setup on the rear that includes a primary 48-megapixel camera with f/1.79 aperture, a secondary 8 Megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with 112-degree FOV & f/2.2 aperture, a 2 Megapixel super-macro lens with 4cm shooting distance, and a fourth 2 Megapixel depth sensor.
There is a single front-facing 16 Megapixel camera.
One of the highlights of this phone is its battery & charging speed. There is a massive 5,000mAh battery with 44W Fast Charging, which is crazy for a mid-range phone. FunTouch OS 10 based on Android 10 runs out of the box.
