In our previous article, we discussed the Vivo X90 and Vivo X90 Pro, the newest flagships from the company. Along with those two phones, Vivo launched a third flagship phone, the Vivo X90 Pro+. As the name suggests, this is the most expensive phone under the X90 series. It is worth mentioning that the Vivo X80 series did not have a “Pro+” variant, but there was a Vivo X70 Pro+ last year.

Vivo X90 Pro+

In terms of design, the Vivo X90 Pro+ is not a lot different than the X90 and X90 Pro. The only noticeable difference is the large camera bump, and the reason for that is the camera sensors. The primary camera has a 50MP 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor with an f/1.75 lens and OIS. The ultrawide camera has a 48MP Sony IMX598 sensor and a 114-degree FOV.

There are two telephoto cameras. The first has a 50MP Sony IMX758 sensor, 50mm f/1.6 lens, and OIS. The second is a periscope camera with a 64MP sensor, a 90mm lens, and OIS. And finally, the camera module has a Laser Autofocus system. For selfies, the phone has a 32MP sensor. Like the other two phones under this series, the X90 Pro+ has Vivo V2 ISP for image processing. Speaking of some camera features, there is a 14-bit RAW video, ZEISS Natural Color 2.0, 8K 30fps video recording, Dolby Vision, etc.

Vivo X90 Pro+

The Vivo X90 Pro+ gets an impressive display as well. There is a 6.78-inch Quad-HD+ E6 AMOLED display with LTPO 4.0 tech, 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color depth, 1800 nits peak brightness, and Dolby Vision. Under the hood, the phone has MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. There is a 4,700mAh battery with 80W fast wired charging and 50W fast wireless charging.

Android 13 runs out of the box with OriginOS 3.0, and some other notable features include an Ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, Stereo speakers, an IP68 rating, and Bluetooth 5.3.

Vivo X90 Pro+ comes in Red and Black colors, with a leather finish on the back. Here is the pricing for the Chinese market –

  • 12GB + 256GB – ¥6499 ($909 / ₹75,000)
  • 12GB + 512GB – ¥6999 ($979 / ₹80,000)
