Today, we got to know that Vivo is going to launch its 5G phone in December named the X30 with Samsung’s Exynos 980 5G SOC. Now, while that’s official information, we just got a new leak that reveals the specifications of Vivo X30 & the X30 Pro. So yes, it looks like there is also a “Pro” version of the X30 & it is coming with even better specifications.
Starting with the Vivo X30, it has a 6.5-inch AMOLED Full-HD+ (2400 x 1080) display with a 90Hz refresh rate. There is Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front as well as the rear. Now, there is something interesting here. The leak suggests there are two variants of the X30 itself. One is the standard Edition that has an Exynos 980 5G SOC, while the other is an “Elite” version with Qualcomm Snapdragon 735 SOC, the specs of which leaked earlier.
The Standard Edition has 8GB RAM & 128GB ROM while the Elite Version has 8GB RAM & 128/256GB ROM. The storage is UFS 2.1 & there is a 4,500mAh battery. The Vivo X30 Standard Edition comes with 11V/2.25A Fast Charging while the Elite Edition with 11V/3A Fast Charging.
Coming to the cameras, there is a Quad camera setup on the rear that includes a primary 64 Megapixel Samsung GW1 sensor, a secondary 13 Megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, an 8 Megapixel telephoto camera with 5X Hybrid Zoom & a 2MP shooter. There is a 32 Megapixel selfie camera, as well.
Talking about the Vivo X30 Pro, it has a 6.89-inch AMOLED Full-HD+ (2460 x 1080) 90Hz display & there is the Exynos 990 5G SOC. The phone has 8/12GB RAM & 128/256GB UFS 3.0 storage. It has the same 4,500mAh battery as the standard Vivo X30 but has 11v/4A Super Flash Charge support. There is a USB Type-C port.
On the rear, there is a Quad camera setup that includes a primary 60 Megapixel camera with Sony IMX 686 sensor. Now, this camera sensor is yet to launch & it would be a successor to the IMX 586. Then there is a secondary 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 13MP telephoto lens & a 12MP IMX 363 sensor. There is a 32MP selfie camera.
