The Vivo V30e is the latest mid-range smartphone from the company for the Indian market and the successor to the Vivo V29e. The Vivo V29e featured a unique rear design, a 50MP selfie camera, and the Snapdragon 695 SOC. The successor brings an upgraded performance, a bigger battery, and an upgraded design.
The design has been updated, so the phone has a circular camera module on the rear with a dual camera setup and a ring LED flash. The back has a two-tone design. On the front, the phone has a curved display with a hole punch cutout in the center.
Under the hood, the Vivo V30e has the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. The battery is 5,500mAh, and Vivo claims this is India’s slimmest smartphone with a 5,500mAh battery at 7.65mm. The phone is also pretty lightweight at 179g. The 44W charging is the same as the predecessor.
The display is a 6.78-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED with up to 120Hz refresh rate and 10-bit color depth. The fingerprint sensor sits under the display.
Speaking of cameras, the Vivo V30e has two cameras on the rear. The primary camera has a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS, and the secondary camera has an 8MP sensor with an ultrawide lens. For selfies, there is a 50MP sensor. There is support for 4K video recording from both the rear and the front cameras.
Finally, the phone is IP64 certified and runs on Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14.
