Vivo T4 Ultra set to launch soon, specifications leaked

There is a periscope telephoto camera this time!

The Vivo T3 Ultra was launched in India in September last year, and it was a pretty solid offering from the brand in the mid-range segment. The phone was launched in India with a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset, making it one of the most powerful phones in its price range.

The phone also featured a massive 5,500mAh battery, a solid camera setup, a 120Hz curved AMOLED display, and more for a starting price of ₹31,999.

The Vivo T4 and Vivo T4x are already official, and the company will launch the Vivo T4 Ultra soon. The key specifications of the phone were shared by Digit and they reveal some interesting details.

The Vivo T4 Ultra follows the footsteps of its predecessor as it is powered by a MediaTek chipset. The name of the chipset is not yet confirmed, but some reports suggest the Dimensity 9400e, which is almost a rebranded Dimensity 9300+.

The battery size is not yet known but we won’t be surprised to see a 6,000mAh or bigger battery in the T4 Ultra. There is 90W wired charging support.

As for the cameras, the triple camera setup on the rear has a primary 1/1.56″ 50MP Sony IMX921 sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto camera. For comparison, the Vivo T3 Ultra featured a dual camera setup, so the T4 Ultra is getting an extra periscope telephoto camera.

There is a 6.67-inch OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 5000 nits peak brightness.

The launch date is not confirmed yet, but rumors suggest an early June launch.
