Last month, the Vivo T3 5G was launched in the Indian market, featuring the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset, a 120Hz AMOLED display, and a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS. This phone is a rebranded version of the iQOO Z9, with the only difference being a flicker sensor on the rear and a different back design.
The Vivo T3x is launching soon in the Indian market, and a couple of specifications of the phone were shared by MySmartPrice. As the name suggests, it is the successor to the Vivo T2x, which was launched in India with a Dimensity 6020 SOC.
As per the source, the Vivo T3x is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, the most powerful chip under the “6” series. This chipset is built on Samsung’s 4nm process and has an octa-core CPU clocked at up to 2.2GHz. This SOC is used in the Honor X9b, launched in India in February at ₹25,999. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 in the Honor X9b scores around 500,000 points, so we expect the same with the Vivo T3x.
For comparison, the Vivo T2x with a Dimensity 6020 SOC scored under 400,000 points on AnTuTu. This shows that the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 is a significant upgrade over the Dimensity 6020. Moreover, since the Vivo T3 was launched in India at ₹19,999, so we expect the Vivo T3x to be priced around or under ₹15,000, making it the most affordable Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 device in India.
The phone has a massive 6,000mAh battery, which, combined with a 4nm SOC, should result in an excellent battery life. The phone also has stereo speakers.
Well, these are the only specifications known so far. Still, based on these specifications, the Vivo T3x seems like a good value-for-money budget phone. The launch is expected later this month.
