Recently, the iQOO Z9 was launched in the Indian market with a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset at ₹19,999. Today, the same phone was launched as the Vivo T3 5G. The rear design differs, but the specifications are identical to those of the iQOO Z9. This is not the first time we have seen Vivo launch a rebranded iQOO device in India. The iQOO Z6 was rebranded as the Vivo T1, the iQOO Z7s as the Vivo T2, and the iQOO Z7 Pro as the Vivo T2 Pro.
Design-wise, the Vivo T3 5G looks completely different from the rear. Unlike the dual camera setup on the iQOO Z9, the T3 5G has three rear sensors, hence a different-looking camera module. The back panel has a different pattern than the Z9. And that’s pretty much all that’s different. The phone has the same front design, an IP54 rating, stereo speakers, no headphone jack, and an under-display fingerprint scanner.
The display is a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED with 1800 nits peak brightness, HDR10+ support, and a Full-HD+ resolution. Under the hood, the phone has the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. The battery size is 5,000mAh, and the phone supports 44W wired charging. The 44W adapter comes in the box.
There are three rear cameras, but only one is useful. The primary camera has a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS. The second camera has a 2MP depth sensor, and the third is a flicker sensor. The 50MP primary sensor can shoot 4K videos at 30fps. For selfies, the phone has a 16MP sensor.
Finally, FuntouchOS 14 runs out of the box, based on Android 14.
Vivo T3 5G comes in two colors – Crystal Flake and Cosmic Blue. Here is the pricing –
- 8GB + 128GB – ₹19,999
- 8GB + 256GB – ₹21,999
