Upcoming Redmi device leaked with pop-up selfie camera & Snapdragon 730

As we all know, Redmi is now a sub-brand of Xiaomi, and so far, we have seen a couple of Redmi devices this year that include Redmi 7, Note 7 & Note 7 Pro. We are hearing rumours of a flagship phone from Redmi from quite some time, and today, a new leak suggested that an upcoming Redmi device with pop-up selfie camera and Snapdragon 730 processor is in the works.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 was announced a few days back, and the Galaxy A80 is the first phone to launch with this chip. It is an 8nm octa-core processor which means it is very power efficient as well as powerful. A user on Weibo posted some information related to the upcoming Redmi device with this processor, and as the image above shows, the phone has a pop-up selfie camera.

Moreover, a few specifications of the phone leaked as well that include a 4,000mAh battery and a triple camera setup on the rear that include a primary 48MP camera, a secondary 8MP camera and third 13MP camera. As per the user who posted the details on Weibo, the phone has a 6.39-inch Samsung display, at least 6GB RAM and 64GB storage.

It cannot be said if this leak is legit or not so consider it with a pinch of salt. Still, if the company is working on such a device, then we hope it would launch globally and not just in China.
